Free trial

During the open beta, pixRepaint is free for 30 days with no application needed. Download and install the plugin, then enter the trial code 8888 as the subscription code in “Activate…”. The trial runs from the first activation, with one computer signed in at a time and up to 3 concurrent jobs, and each RunningHub ID can use it once.

The number of jobs that can actually run at the same time is also limited by your RunningHub account and API Key type.

Before you start

  • RunningHub account: sign up at RunningHub's international site, runninghub.ai. Free accounts can call the API, but jobs may wait longer in the queue and fewer RH coins are included; see RunningHub's website for membership options.
  • RunningHub ID: sign in to RunningHub and open your profile page; the number of about 19 digits after “ID:” next to your nickname is your RunningHub ID.
  • API Key: sign in to RunningHub and open the API Key page to copy or create an API Key (Consumer / Member or Enterprise / Shared). The key must belong to the RunningHub ID above.
  • System: Nuke 13–17 on Windows; see System requirements.

Steps

  1. Get your RunningHub ID and API Key: sign up at runninghub.ai and copy your RunningHub ID and an API Key as described above.
  2. Download and install the plugin: download an installer from Download and installation and install it as described there.
  3. Activate: restart Nuke, click the pixRepaint icon in the left-hand node toolbar and choose “Account & Licence” → “Activate…”. Choose a username and password, keep 8888 in the “Subscription code” field, choose “International site runninghub.ai” under “Platform”, enter your RunningHub ID and API Key, and click “Activate”.

After the trial

When the trial ends, you can still sign in to your plugin account, but you cannot submit jobs. Paid plans for international users will be announced on this site; to keep using pixRepaint in the meantime, please contact us at pixRepaint@163.com. When a subscription code is redeemed with “Renew / Upgrade” in “Manage Account…”, you keep the same account without activating again: your username, password and linked RunningHub ID all stay the same.

FAQ

Can the same RunningHub ID use the trial again?

No. Each RunningHub ID can use the trial once; creating a new plugin account or linking a different RunningHub ID does not grant another trial.

Activation says “This RunningHub ID has already used its trial. Please enter a paid subscription code”. What should I do?

My RunningHub account is on the China site (runninghub.cn).

Choose “China site runninghub.cn” under “Platform” when activating. Trials and plans for the China site are described on our Chinese website.
