Nuke AILocal AI video generation plug-in

Generate new imagery inside a roto mask, frame by frame

pixRepaint works as a set of native Nuke nodes. After you draw a roto mask, connect reference material and enter a prompt, the plug-in generates new imagery for the masked area frame by frame and returns the result to your node graph as ProRes 4444. Processing takes place on RunningHub, so no high-end GPU is required on your workstation.

Nodes

Core nodes

The nodes are available under Nodes › pixRepaint. Inputs, panels and result nodes follow standard Nuke conventions and fit directly into existing node graphs.

Rp M Paint

Local AI video generation

The primary repaint node. Connect the source clip, a grayscale mask and reference material. Without a mask, the entire frame is repainted.

  • Two strength modes: uniform strength for the entire masked area, or graded strength driven by mask values for soft transitions
  • Crop-and-repaint processes only the area around the roto, improving detail in small regions
  • The prompt field includes a template and supports the <Picture N>, <Video N> and <Subject N> tags

Inputs source · mask · refs

Rp M Paint Pass2 Upscale

Second-pass upscale

Connects to a repaint result node and reuses its prompt, references and anchors by default. Each of these can be overridden when required.

  • Output size is set by scale factor or resolution target
  • Three mask modes: full frame, previous mask, or a new mask
  • Refine steps and the restart point are adjustable

Inputs previous result · new mask (optional)

Rp M Refs

Reference material

Combines reference images, anchor frames and reference video into a single input for the repaint node. Each input accepts an AppendClip.

  • Up to 9 reference images, mapped to <Picture N> in the prompt
  • Anchor images are placed at specific frame numbers to guide the result
  • Up to 3 reference video clips, mapped to <Video N>, which guide motion and camera rather than appearance

Inputs refpic · anchors · refvid
